The 12. Santa Claus Rally took place on 6-7 December, 2008 in Veszprém. The rally team, sponsored by the Guidance Ltd. took the second place in its category, and eighth in the combined one. The Santa Claus Rally closes the National Rally Championship. Árpád Szőcs and Attila Szőcs lined up in the category for over 1600 cubic centimetre with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo racer. They had to complete 62 km on six speed sectors the Öskü-Öskü (10,3 km) ȁ4 Bánta-Öskü (6,9 km) ȁ4 Márkó-Jutaspuszta (13,8 km) sectors had to be completed twice.
